The practice in September 2018 had a return visit from the CQC Inspection Team and have been given a complete "GOOD" rating.

The Partners and management wish to thank all the team and our Patient Participation Group members for their on going support.

Home Visits


The doctor will visit patients at home if considered medically necessary and the patient is housebound. Please call the surgery before 11.00am if you think you will need a home visit. Please do not ask for a home visit unless you cannot get to the surgery. In the time it takes for a home visit, the doctor could see several patients that come to him/her.

Telephone Consultations

The practice offers telephone consultations with all the doctors every day. If you feel that this would be appropriate and you are happy to consult with a doctor (or need advice from a nurse) over the telephone, then please ask when calling to make an appointment.

Telephone Triage

At certain times of the day and especially at very busy times all requests for urgent appointments will be passed to the duty doctor. Patients will then receive a telephone call from the doctor who will either deal with the request over the telephone or offer an appropriate urgent appointment at the surgery.
